EVENT EXPERIENCE DESIGN

Make the people in the room part of the event

I design structured participation for conferences, company events and professional communities—giving people a clear reason to meet, exchange useful ideas and leave with clear next steps.

Every interaction needs a reason

APPROACH
Most events are designed around speakers, content and schedules. The audience is expected to listen, network during breaks and somehow turn information into action.

I design the participant journey from the start: when people contribute, who they meet, how ideas move through the room and what happens next. The format follows the purpose—not the other way around.

CASE STUDIES

Founders Mindset Gym for FINOM
FINOM wanted to bring founders together around the real challenges of running a business.

We developed the Founders Mindset Gym—an immersive meetup built around moderated exercises instead of presentations and conventional networking.

Participants switched perspectives, examined business bottlenecks, exchanged direct feedback and identified practical next steps together.
What Participants Said
Founders Mindset Gym
Founders describe what made the format different from conventional networking—and what came out of working together.
B-CLUB:
Where People Train Communication Skills
B-CLUB brought people together to practise communication and public speaking in a lively social setting.

The format combined stage practice, guided interaction and informal conversation—giving participants repeated opportunities to speak, connect and learn from one another..
Qdrant Vector Space Day
Nearly 400 technology professionals came together in Berlin for Qdrant’s first Vector Space Day.

I developed the musical concept and original event track, hosted the conference and created topic-specific audience interactions before the speaker sessions.
Happy Company Day for EJKA
A high-energy team-building event hosted in Munich for the team at The European Janusz Korczak Academy .

The focus of the day was simple: step away from daily routines, strengthen team connections, and enjoy quality time together through lighthearted, engaging communication exercises.

The result was a lively team experience built around participation rather than passive entertainment.

HOW IT WORKS

From brief to live room

  1. Clarify the purpose.
  2. Design the format.
  3. Prepare the team.
  4. Deliver it live.
  5. Learn what worked.

About

I’m Stanislav Kukharkov, an event experience designer and communication coach working across Germany and Europe.

For more than two decades, I have developed Interactive formats for company events, founder meetups, conferences and learning programmes.

I shape the dynamics of an event through participant journey design, interaction, room flow and transitions. The formats determine when people contribute, who they meet and how ideas move through the room.

Depending on the project, I develop the concept, prepare moderators, and support the team in bringing the designed experience to life.
